Marvel Training Refund Policy is a website, trading as ‘Marvel Training’, which is a registered company in England and Wales. is a “gateway” to purchase the products and services of carefully selected and monitored training course providers subscribing to the website. With thousands of course dates and hundreds of locations nationwide, Marvel Training is the UK’s leading website for promoting and booking training courses.

We provide our customers with a one stop solution for all of their training requirements. Our training partners work across a variety of sectors including; health and safety, construction, business, management, IT, sales and marketing. All of our training providers must meet tight quality criteria to retain their place on the site.

Marvel is a “gateway” to purchase the products and services of carefully selected and monitored training course providers subscribing to the website.

Bookings - Contract of Sale

When you make a booking through, you will be sent an e-mail confirming receipt of your booking and containing the details of your booking. Your booking represents an offer to us to purchase, which is accepted by us when we send an e-mail confirmation to you to confirm the course booking. It is essential that you provide us with a current e-mail address, which can be used to communicate with you on any matters relating to your booking. It is your responsibility to advise us of any changes to your email address or other contact details.

There are three types of bookings as explained below:

  1. Bookings – Subject to Confirmation
  2. Bookings that are Subject to Confirmation by Training Providers are not continuously updated with availability by Providers as spaces are booked. Therefore, there is a chance that your booking may not be successful, particularly if the course date is very near. Should your initial booking be unsuccessful we will, wherever possible, offer an alternative to best match your requirements, but you are not obliged to accept an alternative.

  3. Confirmed Free Space Bookings
  4. Confirmed Free Space Bookings relate to courses that are updated with Availability Status. Availability is confirmed at the time of booking when booking one of these courses on the web site.

    If you choose to pay by Cheque or BACS the ‘Payment Details’ section of the Confirmation of course booking should be used as your Proforma invoice. This is for immediate payment and will need to be paid in full at least 30 days prior to the course start date. Making the payment to Marvel Training by the deadline dates is your responsibility and although we will chase the payment, we will not accept responsibility if you fail to make payment by 30 days prior to the course start date. If these conditions are not met Marvel Training reserves the right to cancel the place on the course with the trainer and you will be liable for cancellation fees as set out in the table in the section below and any additional costs incurred by Marvel Training for this cancellation.

  5. E-learning/Distance Learning Courses
  6. Unless otherwise agreed, all fees for e-Learning and distance learning courses are payable in advance. Course access is granted and/or course materials despatched once payment has been received. Refunds cannot be offered once course access us granted on course materials.

Courses Cancellation Policy
  • Bookings are only confirmed upon you receiving a confirmation email.
  • Prior to this, they can be subject to change
  • It can take a few days for the joining instructions to be released.
  • You must take a valid form of ID and your NI number to the course.
  • In case of online booking the date and time chosen by you online are not guaranteed as they are subject to availability.
  • Delegates who fail to complete all parts of the course will not be eligible for any refund or free transfer.
  • This includes those attending virtual or e-learning courses who experience equipment or internet issues.
CITB Tests Cancellation Policy
  • The CITB Test fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Once your test is booked, it cannot be cancelled and can only be rescheduled if requested a full 5 days before the exam date.
  • Test bookings are made on a live system, and on a first come first served basis.
  • You are responsible for attending the test on the correct date at the correct time.
  • In case of online booking the date and time chosen by you online are not guaranteed as they are subject to availability.
  • A booking is only confirmed once you receive an email confirmation. Prior to this, the test times can be subject to change.
  • You must have a valid form of Photo ID. Incase if No Show-CITB Test fee is non-refundable
  • Any bookings placed on Sunday will be confirmed on Monday.
  • Any bookings placed online after 5-pm Mon-Fri will be confirmed the following working day.
Non-Refundable Fee
  • If the Consumer does not attend the course, test that they have booked for.
  • If the Consumer is late in starting the Course or Test booked by us
  • If the Consumer provides insufficient documentation or delay in sharing the same or incomplete documents to process the application*
  • If the Consumer rearranges the course or test and cannot attend on the dates they have arranged for.
  • Bookings will only be made and confirmed upon confirmation of payment.
  • We will not send a test booking confirmation by post unless specifically requested by you because you do not have a current email address.
  • Test bookings are made on a live system; therefore. they are subject to availability and on a first come first served basis and reservation or place holding cannot be made either online or by phone.
Rescheduling Policy
  • If you wish to reschedule the test you booked with us,you may contact us by e-mail at
  • Customer can call us 020 3411 4939 providing us the First Name, Surname and Invoice number.
  • You must inform us at least 5 working days prior to your test date
  • If you fail to contact us as set out above, you will be obliged to pay the full charge including any booking fee or admin fee.
  • The retake option is permitted only if you take the original test (if you had paid)
  • If you pass in the original test then, your retake fees would not be refunded.
  • The fee amount is non-transferable for any other test.
  • You cannot buy the retake alone.
  • If you fail a test and have not originally opted for the retake along with your test, you are required to pay the normal fee for the test.
Card Applications Policy

Candidates acknowledge that they have read and understood the requirements outlined during the card application process to be accepted for eligibility of the card being applied for. Marvel Training reserves the right to cancel card applications without prior notice, if required. If further documentation to complete an application is required, this will be requested by our team and must be provided within 6 weeks from the application date. Candidates acknowledge and agree that they have the relevant documents required to apply and be eligible for the card type in question; if an application is submitted and refused to documentation not being correct or inaccurate, you may be subject to a £20.00 administration charge during the cancellation and refund of your application. Failure to provide the required documentation to complete the application within 6 weeks can result in the application being cancelled/refunded, Marvel Training reserve the right to proceed with the cancellation in such events with a cancellation & administration fee of £20.00 being charged and deducted from the refund amount.

Changes and Updates to these Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions may be updated from time to time, and the terms and conditions prevailing at the time of booking will apply. Continued use of the web site indicates your agreement to them and any subsequent amendments.

Refund Method
  • All refunds will be initiated to the Bank Account only.
  • All refunds will be processed in 5-10 working days, after refund approval.
  • It can take up to 14 days to reflect the refund in you debit card or credit card bank statement.
